Dr. Thomas Flörl combines strong academic expertise with extensive practical experience in white-collar criminal law. After completing degrees in Law and Business Law at the University of Innsbruck, he pursued doctoral studies focusing on the protection of the European Union’s financial interests and subsequently served for several years as a University Assistant at the Institute of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminology in Innsbruck.
Prior to his admission to the Austrian Bar, he gained substantial practical experience as a trainee lawyer at a law firm specializing in business and criminal law, as well as through his judicial clerkship within the district of the Higher Regional Court of Innsbruck.
His practice focuses in particular on white-collar and corporate criminal law, cybercrime and IT-related criminal law, as well as tax criminal law. As the author of numerous academic publications and legal commentaries, Dr. Flörl possesses recognized expertise in complex criminal law matters.
